Popular culture influences identity, interpersonal
relationships, and worldview perspectives. This course
helps to understand popular culture’s influence on
society. Three approaches of popular culture are
focused on: production and industry practices;
evaluating texts; and audience reception of popular
culture. Same as WS 465.
