After reviewing relevant DAW tools, students work to develop listening skills, as well as skills in identifying and fixing problems of balance, frequency range, spatial placement, dynamics, and artful impact in a variety of mix settings including vocals (sung and spoken word), acoustic and MIDI instruments, and film with ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement).
