This course deals with the study of Spanish heritage in the
Philippines. It aims to provide the students an
introduction to Hispanism and the influence of Spain in
the Philippines. It focuses on the Spanish colonial history,
language, culture, literature, education, religion, and
other institutions of the Philippines.
