ANTH 389 - Cultural Resource Management - University of Hawaii at Hilo |
Covering issues pertaining to the identification,
evaluation, and conservation of cultural resources, with an
emphasis on archaeological sites. Central topics include the
National Historic Preservation Act, the Native American
Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, Hawai'i State
legislation regarding cultural resources, and the
implementation of these laws in Hawai'i by government and
private organizations.
