Positions hula, folk dance of Hawai'i, as vibrant cultural-
academic platform to investigate, develop, exercise, and
assess traditional components of indigenous leadership in
a 21st century indigenous world context. A whole body
hula experience that relies on multiple intelligence and
interdisciplinary approaches to build awareness and
actions in indigenous leadership for personal, familial, and
community well-being. Community performance of
learning is integral. No previous experience in hula and
Hawaiian language required. (A) Hāʻulelau (E) Kupulau.
