This class will have two in person sessions on the following dates:
1/13/2025 and 2/14/2025 from 5-8 pm. This class will have scheduled Saturday field days as a class from 9am-1pm on 1/18/2025, 1/25/2025, 2/1/2025, 2/8/2025. All other instructional time will be held online asynchronously.

Service-learning (SL) and community engagement link classroom curriculum to ‘āina-based and culturally appropriate education with hands-on experiential learning opportunities. SL connects real world problem-based learning with a focus on career pathways in order to match the needs of community partners and leads to student success. The SL course designation offers students high quality service earning experiences in their courses with a minimum of 15 hours of service in community, and 5 hours of reflection and/or writing connecting the service with the course curriculum.
