Recommended Preparation: CHEM 151, CHEM 161 or BIOC 141 with a grade of C or better or 1 year of high school college prep chemistry with a B or better within the last 5 years. Concurrent enrollment in PHYL 141L. NOTE: This course is the same as ZOOL 141.

NOTE: The majority of this class is online-asynchronous; however, students will have to take three exams at an approved UH testing center. Students who do not wish to use a UH testing center may schedule their exams through ProctorU for a fee.

This is a hybrid course. This course combines both face-to-face (F2F) and online components. Students MUST have access to a computer, the Internet, and use their UH hawaii.edu email account to participate in this course. Students must be available for class meetings on the scheduled day(s) and time.
