English 100 satisfies the General Education Written Communication Foundation requirement (FW); it should be taken in one's first Fall, Spring, or Summer session. It does NOT need to be taken in one's very first semester at UHM. All students registered for ENG 100 or ENG 100A must attend the first class meeting. Failure to do so without prior consent of the instructor or the English Department may result in the loss of your space and may require you to drop the class to avoid a grade of "F."
