Students with prior Spanish language experience may be able to earn back credits. They should take a language placement test at the Lama Library Testing Center before registering or contact the instructor. This SPAN 101 (CRN 31774) is an 8-WEEK ACCELERATED CLASS. that begins on August 26, 2024 and finishes on October 18, 2024 at which time students will have earned 4 credits. Students may then choose to continue to SPAN 102 (CRN 31775), an 8-WEEK ACCELERATED CLASS that begins on October 21, 2024 and finishes on December 13, 2024 and complete the AA/Liberal Arts language requirement in one semester. These accelerated classes are excellent options for students with some experience in Spanish. This SPAN 101 Intensive section (CRN 31774) is a synchronous online course. Synchronous session(s) will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1:15 pm-3:00 pm. Student attendance is required via Zoom. Students must also complete online course activities. This class includes one or more exam(s) which is/are proctored synchronously ONLINE. Date(s) and time(s) for exam(s) will be determined with some flexibility to accommodate student schedules.This class does not require fieldwork.
