Prerequisite(s): Completion of MATH 135 or higher level mathematics course or placement into MATH 140 or higher level mathematics course. Hybrid Class Section: This EE 160 class section (CRN 31367) is conducted in the hybrid format. This is NOT a Distance Education class. Students are required to come to campus on the days listed on the schedule. Some parts of the class will be online and you need regular access to a desktop or laptop computer and a reliable Internet connection. This class does not require fieldwork. Prerequisite(s): Credit in MATH 231 or credit or concurrent enrollment in MATH 243; and credit or concurrent enrollment in PHYS 272. Online Class Section: This EE 211 class section (CRN 31368) is conducted asynchronously online. Students are not required to meet with each other and/or the instructor at a specific location or time. This class does not include proctored exams. To take an online class, you need regular access to a desktop or laptop computer and a reliable Internet connection. This class does not require fieldwork. All lectures, assignments, exams, and forum discussions will be through Laulima: https://laulima.hawaii.edu/portal Email the instructor (hanaia@hawaii.edu) as needed for additional information, and check your hawaii.edu email account regularly for class notifications. Assignments for this class are at fixed weekly intervals, so you are free to view the pre-recorded lectures and complete your work at your own pace each week. For your own success, it is critical that you participate in the forum discussions, so be sure to check them every day. Each exam will have a fixed date and time, but we can make adjustments to your exam schedule based on your availability. This EE 211 class section (CRN 31368) is Sustainability Focused (SF).
